This is the first I’ve heard of the 100 day project. That’s quite a challenge! I enjoy repeating the same composition; as you say, it takes one decision away so you can focus on all the others that go into a good picture. I look forward to your many drawings!
I will look forward to reading your reports in. It’s a fabulous idea and I still can’t make up my mind whether to commit. I already have several daily practices so I shall see. Maybe I I will commit to considering it every day and see what comes!!
Greetings from Napier, New Zealand. Really enjoyed your article. I'm going to do the 100 day project this year, third year in a row.
My focus has been mark making, especially gelli printing and also collage.
My first two years were done solo, just posting to Instagram (sue.weston). In the second year I had themes I returned to often, such as ovals, botanicals and volcanoes.
This year I'm likely to mentor a group of local print making friends on the project. Our start date might be late February.
I admire you tackling the 100 day project for a 3rd time. I've attempted it once but only managed 56. I'll look forward to seeing your paintings each week.

Love that you’re leaving room for openness, Mary! Happy Painting! ❤️🎨

Good luck with your project.
56 is really good!! And making the intention doesn’t necessarily mean I will do it but I’m going to give it a go 😊
Good luck with it Mary! And thank you. I got so much benefit from taking part despite not completing it.
